Dede's City Bike
Dede Barry retired from her very successful professional racing career at the end of 2003. One of her final races was the Olympic time trial in Athens where she won the silver medal. Although she has retired from racing Dede will always ride her bike. She rides her Mariposa daily in the Colorado mountains close to her winter home in Boulder and in the Pyrenean foothills when she and her husband Michael are at their summer home in Girona Spain. Dede also rides her bike for all her errands around town. To celebrate her retirement we built her what we feel is the ultimate 'city bike' shown here.
